Nature Makers

"Nature Makers Droitwich & Worcester offer mindful, nature-inspired art, craft and play sessions for children and families. It is recognised
that some children and their families may require a 'safe space' at Saltfest. Nature Makers D&W will facilitate this space.

The organisers will provide a suitable gazebo and Nature Makers D&W will provide the following from Midday - 4pm on both Saturday 31st
August and Sunday 1st September; * a member of suitably qualified staff (reference-checked, experience of working with children and
vulnerable adults, fully DBS checked, with a first aid qualification, who has delivered sessions for us before and is known to our organisation).

* Calming books, stacking toys and mindful colouring-in sheets with pencils / crayons* a small sensory tent and cushions for those that may
be neuro-divergent or experiencing sensory overload* a set of ear defenders for temporary use for children (to fit aged 5 yrs to 10 yrs) who may be experiencing auditory distress.

You can access the festival in Vines Park via Gate One (located on Vines Lane), Gate two (accessed via the Saltway), and Gate three (situated by the B4065).

Driving

You’ll be able to park at the pay and display car parks around Droitwich, with the closest being the Waitrose Car Park (opposite Vines Park).

Trains

After arriving at Droitwich Spa train station, it’s roughly a 10minutes walk along the canal to Vines Park Droitwich
